Elizabeth Martin is a partner in the firm’s Miami office. Ms. Martin was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. She attended Florida Atlantic University and graduated magna cum laude in 1993. She then obtained her Masters Degree in developmental psychology from Florida Atlantic University in 1995. Following work as a research assistant she was published in the field of entomology. Thereafter she attended the University of Miami School of Law as a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient. She was a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Review and Moot Court Board, and received an award of distinction in Legal Research and Writing. She earned her Juris Doctor cum laude in 1999. Ms. Martin served as a certified Legal Intern for the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. Ms. Martin represents hotels, physicians and medical providers, major cruise lines, product manufacturers and distributors, international businesses, transportation companies, underwriters, including major marine domestic and international underwriters in state and federal court. She handles matters stemming from wrongful death, personal injury claims, medical malpractice suits, product liability actions, mass tort and class actions, sexual assault claims, medical malpractice suits, product liability actions, excursion liabilities, negligent security claims, premises liability claims, and claims asserted under the Americans with Disabilities Act. She is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
