Mike Bradford is a partner in the firm’s Tampa office. He was born in Tampa, Florida on November 5, 1969, and was raised in the Tampa area. Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of South Florida in 1995 and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1999. While at Vanderbilt, Mike served as Managing Associate Justice of the Moot Court Board and was a semi-finalist in the Bass, Berry & Sims Moot Court Competition. Prior to attending college, he served four years in the United States Army. Mike practices in the areas of general civil litigation and commercial litigation, including liability defense, securities arbitration, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, construction litigation and business disputes. He has extensive litigation experience, including numerous trials, arbitrations and appeals. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. In 2007, Mike was selected by his peers to Florida Trend Magazine’s Up and Coming Legal Elite list.
Mike is active in his community and
numerous professional organizations. He is a member of the Hillsborough
County Bar Association (past Co-Chair, Securities Law Section), American
Bar Association (Litigation and Tort Trial & insurance Practice
sections), the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association –
Compliance and Legal Division, the Defense Research Institute (past
member) and the Tampa Bay Inn of Court. He is also a member of the
Board of Directors of the Hillsborough Head Start Community Foundation,
a past member of the Board of Directors of A Gift for Teaching of Tampa,
a member of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs
Council and a volunteer youth coach with the Tampa Metro Area YMCA and
the Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Department. |
